Returns and Refunds Policy

Returns & Refunds Policy

Subject to the warranties and right to withdrawal offered to EU consumers, all sales are final. We do not accept exchanges or returns (please view our jewellery return policy below). If you have received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us to resolve the issue including proof of any damage, such as photographic evidence. Any defective or damaged items should be reported within 14 days of delivery.

For further information, please contact us at [email protected].

For further information on EU consumer rights and French consumer warranty and right to withdrawal, please visit our Terms & Conditions page.

Jewellery Returns Policy

In the case you would like to return a piece for refund please contact us at [email protected]

We understand that you may feel that the ordered piece of jewellery does not suit. Unsuitable pieces may be refunded or credited within 7 days of return date for French purchases, and 14 days for UK, European and International purchases. We are unable to refund custom pieces.

Please make the request to return the jewellery piece within 48 hours of receiving by emailing [email protected]. Please include your original receipt in the returned parcel.

It is essential to note that in order to receive a refund, the jewellery piece(s) must be unworn and in perfect condition, in its original covering and with all its relevant paperwork (e.g. certificate of authenticity). Carpenters Workshop Gallery has the right to reject returned jewellery if it does not meet the return policy requirements. In such cases, we will return the jewellery pieces to the purchaser.

Any refunds will be re-credited to the original purchaser’s credit/debit card for the sum paid excluding any postal costs.

Until we receive your returned jewellery, the pieces and their condition are the customer’s responsibility. We will not be responsible for any returned jewellery lost or damaged in transit; we would advise you to return jewellery using a secure and trackable method – i.e. trusted courier or registered post (retaining your proof of postage).

UK, European + International Returns

Please note that the postal costs for goods returned from outside the France are the customer’s responsibility and will only be reimbursed if the pieces are damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied.

For international returns, please note clearly on any export documentation and on the address label that the goods enclosed are returned goods. This will ensure that duties or taxes are not re-charged upon receiving the goods back into France. If this procedure is not followed, this cost may be passed on to the customer at the company’s discretion.

Faulty Items

Carpenters Workshop Gallery checks each piece before it is shipped, and we follow a very rigorous quality assurance procedure.

We advise to carefully check your jewellery pieces upon their arrival. Should you receive a faulty or damaged piece, please do not remove any labels or attempt to fix it. Please email us at [email protected] or [email protected] for jewellery orders stating your order number and the nature of the fault, and where possible, please accompany with photos highlighting the damage.

For faulty items that have been worn, or purchases returned outside our Returns Policy, please email us at [email protected] or [email protected] for jewellery orders for further assistance. These may be accepted at the discretion of Carpenters Workshop Gallery. The customer’s statutory rights are unaffected.
